Carol L. Hoover, PhD - CEO & Chief Technologist (Carol Hoover)

Carol Hoover has over thirty years of management, technical, and academic experience, primarily in software research, development, and education. She approaches problem solving scientifically while factoring business economics and human factors into the equation. Carol is an analyst who encourages the pursuit of life-long learning, reflection, and change management as keys to innovation and quality improvement. Carol has held positions with BiznessLegion, LLC, and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA); with the Allen-Bradley Company in Cleveland, Ohio (USA); and with the United States Congress in Washington D.C. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio (USA), and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Education, with minors in mathematics and music and a specialization in science and engineering, from the University of Akron, Ohio (USA). She is a member of the ACM, IEEE, IEEE Computer, and Sigma Xi.
